Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover - Review

When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she knows it isn’t love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.

They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.

Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly

Sav's Review

This book.. Oh this book.
It's no secret that Colleen is my favorite author, it's just not. I know her style. She writes unique. The blurb never does it justice but I never expected the whirlwind of emotions that  came from Ugly Love.

The title is very accurate. This book focuses on the ugly side of love. It hurts. It shatters you. It brings you

And just when you think you can never be brought back up, she does it. You don't simply read Ugly Love. You live it, you feel it, and it slithers around your heart and takes hold. It makes it hard to breathe. IT. IS. BEAUTIFUL!

The writing is flawless. The characters are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Everything about this book screams perfection.

This review is not my best. I know that. Honestly, you will thank me for not focusing more on the plot. Something simple could ruin something massive and I refuse to do that. Just know, that is this book is probably the best book I HAVE EVER READ! I don't say that lightly. It made me laugh, it made me smile, it killed me, then slowly started the process of re-building.

Colleen deserves a free pig for this book. Seriously, someone get her that pig because she wrote one of the most gut wrenching, beautifully broken, amazing books on this planet.

Don't think.. Just read it.
5 billion stars!
