Review of willing captive

(Author note: This is NOT a dark romance.)

Delilah “Lily” Flynn is used to her drab existence. Lily’s been living it for twenty two years.
Her boring life is suddenly turned on its head when she’s rudely kidnapped from her bedroom.
Or so she thinks.

Nox Taylor is far too high up in his field to be assigned a babysitting job.
There’s nothing more he wants than to complete his mission so he can be rid of the smartass tomboy, Lily.

Day after day, Nox watches Lily and her strange ways. She’s unlike any woman he’s ever met.
Getting close to the girl is purely for her own protection…right?

Lily never imagined she’d make her first real friends in captivity.
What lengths would she go through to keep them?

**This is a stand alone novel and is unrelated to Friend-Zoned**

 Leia's Review-
Aaaaaaaannnnndddd – She does it again.

Yeah – I know – it shouldn’t even be a surprise anymore.

I’m now accepting it as one of those universal, absolute truths – Belle Aurora is a fucking genius.

Seriously – everything the woman writes is perfection. And this book was no exception.

This is NOT a “dark and dirty” romance – contrary to what the cover/title may lead you to believe. This book is fast-paced fun wrapped up in a witty little package.

Lily family is very wealthy. So wealthy that they have now started receiving threats – and her overprotective father keeps her under lock and key. Which leads to a very boring life.

That is until the night that Lily is taken from her home.

Lily has been taken by some of the most fun kidnappers I have ever had the pleasure of reading. (I know this sounds whacked – but put your opinions away, Judgy Mc-Judger-son, until you read this book) !

Nox, Rock and Boo are amazeball. Belle Aurora consistently makes her “secondary” characters full of life and very involved in the story line – this story was no exception. Rock and Boo were perfect. And I fell in love with them too!

Now – on to my Nox. My brooding man. My tough guy. My….my….well – he’s just mine. Here’s the thing I loved most about Nox – he is NOT perfect. He is not “the most gorgeous man she’s ever seen” when she first lays eyes on him. His nose is crooked. He’s just not this Adonis. He becomes perfect and even more sexy as she falls in love with him. And this makes me SO SUPER HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo tired of the “over gorgeous man”. It is so refreshing to read about an actual manly-man! ….Sigh….

This story is hilarious. It’s witty and sarcastic. It’s fun and loveable. Hoooooowever – I did shed a few tears….there is a little bit of a “What. The. Actual. Fuck.” Moment.

I don’t even know what to say other than – GO BUY THIS BOOK! Read it, and be happy. And while you’re at it – if you haven’t already – do yourself a favor and grab Friend-Zoned and Love Thy Neighbor. Don’t argue with me – just do it. It will make you a better person. It’s not a lie. These books make you happy. And happy people are better people. They just are.
