Russell Brand Talks About Bullying: Video

Monday marked the start of GLSEN’s (Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network) No Name-Calling Week, an important initiative that encourages children to ignore bullies, embrace their own uniqueness, and celebrate kindness.
Resident funnyman—and author of THE PIED PIPER OF HAMELIN—Russell Brand shares his tips on how to deal with bullies.
“If you are a young person who’s being bullied and feel like you don’t fit in, or you feel some shame about that, like “Oh, I wish I were just like everybody else,” don’t wish that you were just like everyone else. It’s alright to be unusual and strange.”
