Ignited by J. Kenner - Review

For fans of Fifty Shades of GreyBared to You, and Release Mecomes an all-new erotic series of three enigmatic and powerful men, and the striking women who can bring them to their knees.

He promised to take me as far as I could go—and I wanted to go to the edge.

My whole life has been a cover, a con, a lie. I was born into the grift, raised on the thrill of playing someone I’m not. As a rule, I never let anyone get too close—until Cole August makes it impossible for me to stay away.

Cole is tough, sexy, and intensely loyal, yet his secrets are dark and his scars run deep. Not many women can handle his past, or the truth behind his fierce demands. But something about him beckons me—and our desire is a game I must play.

I know he’s dangerous, that even his touch is trouble, but what is passion without a little risk?

Ignited is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

Sav's Review

Cole August is a successful man. He struggled to get where he is in life. His life prior to success wasn't rainbows and unicorns. Cole was for lack of better words shell shocked about relationships and even more so, love. Love was not a word that Cole August used. He was like having a pretty Christmas present  under your tree at Christmas time. It looks so beautiful and you can't help but want it. All you want to do is rip off the outer paper just to see what lies beneath because many times, a pretty package can lie and Cole was definitely a pretty but mysterious package.

Katrina Laron totally has the hots for Cole. Watching and hoping for just that one chance with that sexy hunk of man candy but she never did anything about it. Settling for the life that was expected of her. Settling to be without the one thing she craved most....

They find themselves pushing the boundaries of friendship and lovers. Kat wanting to take the bull by the horns and wanting to jump in head first and Cole who wants the same but has a fear that his dark past and his darkened sexual desires will run Kat off, or worse than that, he fears that he could hurt her.

This is book 3 in this series and no you do not have to read the first 2 books to understand this book. The author does a great job with capping each book off and it is very clear from the start who's who and what's what. I didn't read the prior books but definitely plan on going back to read them now. I initially was a fan of J.Kenner's Stark trilogy. I loved the writing style so decided to give this one a go and I'm so happy that I gave it a chance. This book flowed really well and had a little bit of everything including off the charts HOT sexy time. I loved Cole's need for dominance but also his caring side. He put Kat first and taught her how to trust again. I definitely recommend this series and I give this book 4 Stars!!!!!
