Sav's 4 Star Review
Lord have mercy, what a debut! Willow Davis completely blew me away with her first novel.
Cassie suffered a great loss. She was being held captive by her past and she never thought she could fully escape. She moved on from the death of her fiance but it still haunted her every night.
Joel was almost Cassie's kindred spirit. He knew exactly what Cassie was going through because he too had suffered a great loss during a freak accident where his fiance was never seen again.
Both of them have this attraction but both are afraid to fully commit to another relationship. The fear of loss was stronger than the need for companionship so they simply agreed to be just friends.
I won't reveal anything else about the book because believe me when I tell you, alot is about to happen.
Willow did not go light on the angst. She had my stomach in knots the majority of the book. Many times I asked myself, who could it be, why would they do this, and what the hell is going on?
This is a mysterious novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat and second guessing yourself. It's full of gasp out loud moments.
Go on and click this story about new beginnings and be prepared to be wow-ed! But please buckle up and get ready for the ride of your life.
