Review - The Best Man for the job by Lucy King

The wedding guest from her past...

For Celia Forrester, Marcus Black--her brother's best friend--was always totally off-limits. Especially after The Night That Nearly Happened. It was years ago, but Celia remembers it for all the worst reasons! But now, Marcus is back in the picture--he's the best man at her brother's wedding and more gorgeous than ever!

It's all kinds of inappropriate, but giving in to temptation looks like the best way for Celia to get Marcus out of her system. But their one night comes with consequences. And this time, it won't be fifteen years until they have to face them...but nine months

Sav's Review

It's hard to find a good genuine romance now days where it's not completely riddled with sex. I mean, sex is good but I need some romance too. This book was exactly that. While it wasn't one of my all time favorites, it was still a good story that was easy to enjoy. I mean don't get me wrong, it had some steam to it but it didn't make me roll my eyes like alot of books do.

Celia Forrester has always had an interesting relationship with Marcus Black, her brothers best friend. They went through years and years of pointless back and forth arguing and overall not liking each other one bit.

Celia and Marcus meet up again years later at her brothers wedding and things get interesting, a night of passion that each person thinks will be the end of it all. Until Celia gets a surprise that cannot be overlooked.

Things went pretty quickly with this book. It wasn't very long and drawn out but overall it was a pretty good read. Characters were likeable and the book flowed really well.

It was not my favorite Harlequin KISS novel ever but was still a good, quick read for someone who wants a light not overly angsty read. I give it 3.5 stars.
