Stella Ford’s grasp on reality is already loose, and it’s about to come undone.

When the college junior flees Chicago and leaves her toxic family behind, she heads for coastal Maine to find the one person who brought her peace years ago: Sam Bishop. But the Sam she once knew now has painful secrets.

Stella is determined to heal them both. Healing, however, is a challenge when the walls of her everyday existence collapse. And when Sam’s best friend is his worst enemy.

When the line between life and death blurs.

When an end is just a beginning.

When lust and rage rule.

Yet during extraordinary chaos, there can be extraordinary love, even if that love comes with a twist.

Welcome to death tripping.

A thriller, a paranormal, and a passionate romance, CLEAR crosses genres and breaks boundaries.

Leia's Review

It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Jessica Park.

Her books are always thought provoking and intense, so when I was asked to review Clear I jumped at the chance.

This book was unlike anything I’ve read from Mrs. Park before. Categorizing it into one genre is impossible. It was a compelling read from start to finish, following the lives of several characters.

Unlike most novels, Clear doesn’t focus on just the two main characters. Everyone in this book had a purpose and when tying it together seemed nearly impossible in the mind of the reader – it clicked. Everything and everyone fell right into place. Details that you thought were long forgotten float back to the front of your mind and you realize that nothing was by mistake.

Stella is tough. She is resilient while being compassionate. She intrigued me from the very beginning.

Sam. Oh, Sam. He is such a deep character. He was so loving and kind. And he was unyielding in his devotion. I absolutely adore Sam.

Costa is impulsive, tenacious and thrill-seeking. He baffled me throughout the book, his personality as chaotic as his actions.

The dynamic of these three main characters along with each strategically placed secondary characters created an unforgettable story or love, loss and embracing your destiny regardless of circumstances.

I know that my review is lacking the basic details of the story – and that is for a reason. There is nothing that I can tell you that wouldn’t spoil some portion of the book, and that would be a travesty. This is a story to experience word for word.

Even though I am an avid reader, there is literally nothing that I can compare this book to. It transcends genres. It pushes boundaries.

Brush off your preconceived notions of traditional romance and open your eyes to the tantalizing world of death tripping. Jessica Park delivers another spell-binding journey that will leave you breathless.
