From #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover, a new novel about risking everything for love—and finding your heart somewhere between the truth and lies.
Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight and there’s no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn’t expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.
For once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover Owen is keeping major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.
The last thing Owen wants is to lose Auburn, but he can’t seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin…

I Confess...
Let me tell you my confession. Most people say that they can't choose a favorite author, or storyteller but #IConfess that Colleen Hoover is mine. Now, I know there are some incredible writers out there. Many many many authors that I love but there is just something special about Colleen's writing that pulls me in the way nobody else can... I'm Savanna and that is my confession!
This story is absolutely incredible. I'm not even sure how to review this one for ya'll so I'm just going to try my best. The book starts out with a hint of suspense. You know that each person is hiding their secrets but there is absolutely no way for you to ever guess it. I was enthralled with this story and could not stop turning the pages. I had to know what was going on. Right when I thought I knew, Colleen proved me wrong and left me with my mouth hanging open and saying 'O.M.G' repeatedly.
See, she has this way of pulling you in, making you think you know what's ahead and all the while - you don't. She is the master manipulator of words and I'm constantly needing more.
You see, Owen and Auburn are great together but their secrets are holding them hostage and they are both helpless to control them. What do you do when life is against you in every way? When you are destined to fail even before you start? Do you give up? Or do you confess?
Also note - The confessions in this book are real. True confessions from real every day people like you and I. Some big, some small, but all very real. These confessions, gave me chills. I love that these people even for just a minute got a chance to confess their sins no matter how big or how small. Some even brought me to tears. If anybody who submitted an anonymous confession is reading this right now just know, even though I may not know you, and probably never will - I commend you for having the strength to confess. Your confessions helped single handedly make this book that much more powerful.
Overall - just know, this book is simply amazing. It's perfection in written form. There is something for everyone in these pages. So just buy it, read it, love it!! You won't regret it!
5 +++ Stars!
