Running
smack into one man while trying to get to another wasn’t part of the plan. I
never meant to plow into him. I was upset, running from a pain that followed
me. The fact that he needed me was not only a blessing, but an omen as well. I
could get far, far away from the agony and never look back. I could get to the
one man I wanted to suffer, and never let him see me coming. It was the perfect
plan.
I
was the blinded one, oblivious to what was impending. Propositions and untied
shoes, lies and runny noses, betrayal and playdates, all things I never saw
coming. Unconditional love was forced down my throat, compelling me to do
things I had to do. I ran.
No
matter what they say, it wasn’t about the money. It was never about the money.
Oh my! Talk about twist! Really did not see all of the things that went down coming. This book is about a young girl who had to make some really difficult decisions. I couldn't imagine having to make those decisions and I'm a good ten years older than she was. She starts out with a plan. A plan that, even though it won't help her with her dilemma, would help make her feel better. The one and only family member she has left, is in denial. He didn't believe her at first, but eventually everything changes. Makayla is set out to make a point. She never planned on running into Blake.... and of course, it just happened to be what they both needed. Blake just lost his nanny and Makayla needed an excuse to get close to him. Not for him.... but for her own agenda. Plans never go as they are supposed to, and that's what smacks Mikki in the face. She didn't plan of falling in love with a little girl who no one really sees. London, or Pea, is the sweetest, smartest little girl ever, and she is ignored and neglected (emotionally and mentally). Mikki comes in and opens everyone's eyes. Things change, and Mikki is there to make sure they change in the right direction.
Things go south and Blake has to go away. Mikki refuses to let the little girl, whom she has grown to love more than anyone else in the world ever, go back to her evil mother. So she has another plan... not a very good one... but a plan nonetheless. Their adventure is short lived and Mikki finds herself headed back to the hell everyone is going through. She wants to fix everything... make it right. Will she be able to right all the wrongs? Will she find her happiness, or is she destined to live a life of loneliness???
A definite must read!!!! This book sucked me in and MADE me love it! Pea is just the most adorable little girl and the twists and turns, and all the anticipation doesn't allow a person to put this book down. The plot line was amazing!! 5 stars!

Author Bio
Jettie
Woodruff is a lifelong writer, living in a pretend world since she was a little
girl. Jettie spent hours filling pages of spiral notebooks with a number two
pencil and a wild imagination. Her very first story was a sci-fi of all things.
Jettie
writes more along the lines of deep now. She likes to keep her readers on edge,
and deliver a story that will pull out every emotion possible. Writing on the
edge of taboo and dark, Jettie hopes to distribute an adventure you'll not soon
forget.
Married
for twenty five years, raising two boys and one girl has left lots of writing
material. She has recently become a grandma to not one, but two of the most
beautiful little girls on planet earth.
Jettie
also hates doing this bio. That's all you get. She loves to read and write.
